My 5th Blogiversary…

Mummy On My Mind turns 5 today! How even?! This blog has truly opened up so many opportunities that I am thankful for, not only in terms of being creative, collaborating with brands that I love in, but most importantly making friends through this journey and creating relationships that I cherish dearly.

This year I have definitely been far more active on my Instagram page compared to this blog itself, but one thing that I have not let go of is my monthly gratitude lists. The “Things I said Alhumdulillah for…” series has been a monthly ritual that helps me count me blessings, both big and small, and I love hearing back from my readers saying that they really enjoy reading these too.

The blog has also continued to be a diary of my personal life whether it be sharing Little Z’s First Birthday celebrations, the Open Letters to my boys on their birthdays, Weaning Little Z off breastmilk, and possibily one of the biggest changes in my life: undergoing Laser eye surgery! I have finally delved into the world of IGTV, creating longer chatty videos on this platform whilst still not forgetting about my Youtube channel. I have had thoughts of starting a Podcast too, so perhaps that could be the next platform that I jump on to…you never know! ha!

I am really looking forward to creating more Ramadan content as I did in the past year such as this DIY Ramadan Countdown Calendar as well as carry on with my yearly Ramadan Diary post that I love reading back on every year. Likewise, I have also really enjoyed doodling over on @mummyonmymindstore, creating bespoke doodle portraits of you and your loved ones!

This past year has also seen me be nominated for three awards: the Qidz Best Mum Advisor award , the Muslimah Bloggers award for Parenting and Lifestyle, as well as the Mother, Baby and Child Awards for the Parenting and Lifestyle award category (for which voting is still open if you fancy voting for me!). It’s definitely given me a lovely fuzzy warm feeling to be recognised within this field and have my name in the company of some amazing content creators that I look up to. I am very proud of myself, and can’t thank you all enough for supporting me all the way.

Thank You. Thank you to every single person that has followed me throughout the past five years of this amazing journey, both old and new, and I hope to carry on sharing snippets of my life as I have been thus far, sharing with you all that has interested or helped me and my little family of four. In exchange, I ask that you continue to support my digital world by showering it with likes, comments, shares and follows. Each single one of these actions means SO much to me- so again, Thank YOU.

P.S. Feel free to drop me a line about what you love/hate seeing on the blog, and what you would like to see more of! All your feedback is highly appreciated!
