Meet and Greet Event with Jumana Al Darwish ~ The Happy Box…

Last night, I got the chance to meet an inspirational woman: Jumana Al Darwish at her Meet and Greet event. Jumana, if you already didn’t know, is the owner of The Happy Box, a devoted mother, and a unicorn. She shared with us her story, explained the concept of the Happy Box, and answered our probing questions in the most relaxed and joyous manner.

The cosy event took place at the fabulous cafe and boutique, Spontiphoria. I could not stop admiring the gorgeous vintage decor and quirky items for sale. The desserts looked just as ravishing, and the cookie I grabbed was devoured in about 3 bites. (I need to have some more of those!)

Anyway, I digress. Let me get back to where I was. The meet and greet event a casual set up and filled with positive vibes. When I asked Jumana what was her happy place, she replied that her Happy Studio in her home was quite literally her happy place. Her work space is a burst of colour and confetti in a monochrome home, and also the working place she shares with her daughter.

Once Jumana told us about her story and inspiration for The Happy Box, a sparkly mic was passed around the floor for us to divulge in our happy memories. It was a lovely way to share laughter and experiences, and was thoroughly enjoyable.

I will end this post with a few photographs of Spontiphoria, as well as a snippet of last night when Jumana shared her sentiments about her daughter with us. I must admit, I left the event feeling inspired and very much happy. I have nothing but admiration for Jumana’s work and infectious energy.
