Eid ul Fitr 2017 OOTD…

This Eid I donned a Desi number to celebrate the first day, that I had brought from my last trip to India. It was full on glam, accompanied by plenty of dazzling bangles and the works. If you are following me on Instagram, you will have seen it on my Instastories. However, the second day was all about this top that I had fallen head over heels in love with the moment I set my eyes on it.

This bright gold yellow shirt-dress screams summer and is definitely my favourite purchase from RIVA so far. I have only recently started to invest in RIVA Pieces, inspired by the modest fashion queen Ascia, and I think it fits perfectly with my own “fashion sense”.

This shirt-dress is modest and flowy yet tailored to perfection. I love that I don’t need to layer it in this excruciating heat thanks to it being opaque and already having long sleeves. The colour makes it a statement piece on it’s own, and the only set back is that it creases really quickly.

To not overshadow the stunning colour of the shirt-dress, I paired it with a plain white pair of skinny jeans and white silk headscarf. However, for footwear, I decided add a little va-va-voom of colour and texture with these pom-pom sandals, that seem to be very much in trend for the summer.

I picked up these pair of cute flats from the Ramadan Night Market at Expo Centre Sharjah for an absolute bargain! They are so comfy, and I think ties the whole outfit together really well. I mainly love them because they are so comfy because Eid or not, this mama can’t be running around the mall after a 3 year old toddler in heels!

For accessories, along with my trusted Apple Watch, I added a sparkly bracelet and long necklace with a heart shaped pearl pendant. And Voila! There’s my Eid ul Fitr Outfit of Day 2, that I am obsessed with!

What do you think of this look? Also, are you a huge fan of RIVA and Ascia like me? Let me know your thoughts in the comments section below.

I love this top, especially the colour! And how you paired it with the long necklace and the sandals really brought the outfit together.

Love how you’ve put everything together to make the entire look so pretty and neat. I love love love tunics – just can’t get enough of them.
