A belated Anniversary and OOTN…

On Tuesday evening, Mr Z, Baby Z and I headed off to a belated anniversary meal at Al Waha, Taj Palace Hotel (now renamed Jood Palace Hotel). Below, I share with you a few photographs of the wonderful night that we had. Al Waha restaurant was hosting a sea food night on that particular day, and my husband booked it in the hope that there would still be some chicken or beef being served, since he is not too keen on sea food. There wasn’t of course.

I, on the other hand, a lover of seafood, was in absolute heaven.

The rustic feel of the restaurant was beautiful, and the live cooking was delicious. The crab meat especially was sweet and ravishing. Those king prawns….scrumptious! Another favourite from the buffet menu was the Teriyaki fried seafood. They also had a seafood lasagna, rice and plenty of steamed fishes. I did of course plate up on my favourite veggies too: the boiled courgettes! Yum!

For my evening outfit, I wore a red maxi dress that my darling parents had sent to me from England. I paired it with a velvet bordered black scarf, my black lace peep-toe wedges and accessories including the very first Swarovski ring (a red and gold) my husband had gifted me.

My husband and Baby Z followed the red theme by both donning a red shirt over a pair of jeans, and tied off with a brown waistcoat. Both of them looked so adorable, I was practically swooning!

We had such a lovely time at Al Waha. They were very hospitable, and their food was delicious. It was a lovely way to celebrate two years of togetherness, and husband and I chatted away whilst munching on our prawns, in between making sure Baby Z wasn’t running off into the kitchens and playing peek-a-boo with the chef of course. Upon recollection, we realised that for our last anniversary we also went to a sea food restaurant. Perhaps it is an anniversary trend or tradition in the making? I am not one to complain…

Note: I was not asked or paid by Al Waha Restaurant or Jood Palace Hotel to carry out this review. The dinner was paid for by my husband and I, and all photographs and opinions expressed in this post are my own.

Have you tried their seafood dinner? Are you a fan of seafood in general? Please feel free to share your thoughts in comments section below!
