Winter in Dubai: Mummy and Toddler OOTD…

Last night we headed into Jumeirah and walked around ..well… City Walk, and then went on to Box Park, ending the night with a family meal in Arz Lebanon, which is by the way by far one of the best places for customer service in Jumeirah, along with having delicious Lebanese cuisine of course! Here’s a few OOTD snapshots of myself and Baby Z!

Oh and in case you are wondering, we usually leave family nights out like these for weekends, but it is only because my parents and brother have joined us for a short 10 day holiday that we are pretty much raving every night. Baby Z is having the time of his life, and is back to being spoilt by his grandparents too of course!

Since it is basically the peak of winter at the moment, and we were going to be outdoors for the majority of the evening, I decided to wear this gorgeous tartan patterned jacket which my husband brought for me from his trip in Turkey. I LOVE the collar and the material is so soft. Simply perfect for a breezy evening in Jumeirah.

I paired the jacket with my Zara Jeans and Emerald Green silk scarf, and voila!

Baby Z’s casual attire consisted of a red and black checked hooded shirt from A & J Carter, paired with his comfiest blue jeans and black trainers. This comfy number meant he could still look smart, whilst enjoying a little play about.

I also realised once we were out that my husband too was wearing a checked shirt…I swear it was not pre-planned, but there was definitely a theme going on! He he!

If you haven’t already, do check out the Christmas decorations dotted around Box Park and the little winter wonderland created in the middle of City Walk. They are beautiful, especially when lit up, and Baby Z really loved looking at the Snow Globe and penguins (fake of course).

What’s your favourite winter wear at the moment? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below.
