Things I said Alhumdulillah for in November 2019…

Alhumdulillah means “All Praise is due to God” and are the words uttered by a Muslim when he/she is expressing gratitude to Allah. I find myself saying this numerous times a day and this post is a collection of moments when I have said Alhumdulilah during the past month.

Things I said Alhumdulillah for in November:

  1. Welcoming the Dubai Winter breeze with open arms and spending time outdoors with the family.
  2. Jumping in puddles with my boys…and being consequently drenched after!
  3. Spotting gorgeous clouds when looking up in the sky. After months of clear skies during the summer, this is a bit of a novelty in Dubai!
  4. Meeting like-minded people that I can call friends. I am very sad to have to say Goodbye to a dear friend, Tani De Gregorio, I have made in the last few years, but so excited to see where this new expat journey takes her, all the while being thankful to have met her at all.
  5. Listening to Master Z make out sounds and read words by himself when we are out.
  6. Finally getting round to filming my Skincare videos for my IGTV. It took a lot of effort, but was so much fun to create! Now I am wondering what other videos I should create? (Comment with what you’d like to see!)
  7. Being featured in The National newspaper regarding “Mumpreneurs”.
  8. Mr Z going and returning back from his 2 day work trip to Kuwait safely. Alhumdulillah.
  9. Celebrating 11 years of knowing Mr Z on the 24th of this month, after I said YES to the question of marrying him. That man has been the rock in my life, my reason to smile, my number one supporter.
  10. When Little Z takes a long nap during the day. Phew. It’s the only way I survive till bed time!
