Alhumdulillah Series

Things I said Alhumdulillah for in March 2019…

Ahumdulillah means “All Praise is due to God” and are the words uttered by a Muslim when he/she is expressing gratitude to Allah. I find myself saying this numerous times a day and this post is a collection of moments when I have said Alhumdulillah during the past month.

Things I said Alhumdulillah for in March:

  1. Beginning my preparations for Ramadan with activities for the kids that will hopefully keep them entertained and me sane during fasting. I created this Ramadan Countdown Calendar for my boys, which you can recreate using my step by step photo tutorial.
  2. Recreating these photos with both my boys that are exactly one year apart, and reflecting on how far I have come since then as a mother of two. *sniff sniff*
  3. Trying out a new art medium for the first time – Pour Art! Look at what I made here! Creating pour art is SO relaxing!
  4. Online delivery orders reaching your doorstep. Hehe.
  5. Delving into a book on my kindle after a long time. It’s the simple pleasures!
  6. Revealing that we will be moving to a new home in the summer, and shopping for new kitchenware from HomeCentre, which I can’t wait to use in our new home soon!
  7. Sushi. Need I say more?
  8. Weekends. The thought of spending family time during weekends is the only thing that gets me through the hectic week!
  9. Finding a spare tissue in your car so you can wipe down the windows which are getting filthy…because you keep delaying taking your car for a wash…because it keeps raining ever other day.
  10. Falling in love with an eye shadow palette after the very first swatch. 😛 #makeupaddict
  11. Hearing all about Master Z’s school visit to the Zoo. Apparently he fed the camels…and also the sharks. Umm…ok then?!

These are just a few of the many times I uttered the words Alhumdulillah this month. Check out what I was thankful for last month here. Also, here’s a list of what I was thankful for in March last year! What are you thankful for? Feel free to share your moments in the comments section below.
