Stepping into Spring: OOTD…

So Spring has finally arrived, and what better way to feel “Springy” than by putting on a frilly carefree outfit. Here’s a quick little OOTD

The off shoulder tops as well as frills are very much in trend right now and I have seen them absolutely everywhere! I have loved the off shoulder pieces from as far as I can remember so knowing that they were very much in season, I simply had to get my hands on one. The only conundrum was of course how to style it, being a Hijabi and all!

After trying out the white top with numerous options, many including bright collared shirts, I eventually went for a plain grey H&M t-shirt. Since the top was rather short in length too, I was thinking of pairing it with a patterned skirt. Knowing that Culottes are also another must have spring item, but the knee length trousers were not ideal, I settled for my silk palazzo pants. To contrast the plain outfit, I went for a patterned scarf with similar colour tones. I finished off the outfit with a bit of bling, and voila…my Spring Outfit for the day was ready.

What’s your favourite staple Spring piece? Do you tips on how else to style the off shoulder top in a modest fashion? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below!
