Below are my answers to the questions asked to me by Laura:

What inspired you to start writing?

Being a stay at home mum, I wanted to be productive in a way that wasn’t entirely mummy related. I absolutely loved writing and I found blogging, especially on my phone during Baby Z’s nap times to be fulfilling and a good outlet. My love for writing and also reading other blogs spurned me to take on this decision.

 Ultimate dinner party, who are your 5 guests and why?

My ultimate dinner party guests would be my Mother, Father and Brother because being an expat in Dubai means that I haven’t seen them for over a year as they are back in England. My other two guests would be Michael Bublé, the Canadian singer, and Matt Smith, the previous Doctor Who actor. The conversations would be far too entertaining!

 What has been your favourite age so far and why?

To be honest, every year has been getting better and better. If I had to choose an adventurous year, it would be when I was 18 and in the final year of college. That year I was able to experiment a lot with Art, all the different media as well as going on Art trips in England and Italy, and is perhaps my best experimental year as an Artist.

 What are you scared of?

Now that I am a mother, anything and everything! I seem to always be risk assessing everything around me since I have a crawling 10 month old, and so I am always picturing horrific scenarios in my head of ways in which things around him might harm him, and then proceed to remove such items from his way.

 Would you rather have hands for feet or feet for hands?

Definitely Hands for Feet.

 What are your goals this year?

I hope to put in a lot of my time into this blog and get at least a 1,000 following. Another goal is to revisit Italy this year, but this time with my husband and baby.

 If you could book a plane ticket anywhere, where would you go?

Florence, Italy.

 What is your favourite memory?

Drinking tea with my then-fiance in a little tea shop in Lincoln. It was freezing cold outside, and we snuggled up into the warm tea shop with each other’s lovely company and a few scones.

 What is your worst character trait?

I don’t speak my mind at crucial times and this is mistaken for me not having an opinion. Drives me insane!

 And your best?

My ability to laugh at myself. This is such an important trait to have and spreads a lot of happiness.
