Eid Al Adha 2015 OOTD…

Eid Al Adha 2015 was yet another lovely family affair, spent eating food, food and more food. It began by eating bowls of Doodh Khurmo, followed by a home made lunch of delicious Daal Ghost, and ended with dinner at Kulcha King on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Below is my outfit for the day. It was a comfy modest and beautifully printed kaftan, paired with jewellery and sparkly heels, finished off with a statement hijab. Please feel free to scroll through my awkward attempts at outfit photos, that involved lots of looking off into the distance, pondering over the meaning of life, and posing with a massive plant pot that was almost the same size as me. Mastering the art of OOTD posing may take a while, so bear with me. You can find outfit details at the very end of the post! Hope you all had a lovely Eid with your family and friends!

Beautiful. I do love to read your posts. I think you’ve captured your OOTD beautifully. Love the Henna on your feet too. Have never seen that before and I see you did it yourself! Very artistic. What inspired your choice of outfit? Nicky x
PS I’m assuming OOTD is outfit of the day?!!!

Thank you so much for the encouraging comment! I absolutely love henna, though I’m no expert. As for my outfit, I am always on the look out for comfy but gorgeous clothes that I can feel fabulous in even when I’m running after Baby Z! Haha! So this Kaftan fitted the brief perfectly. P.S. You’re right about OOTD. ?

This looks so comfortable I want one. Kudos on making the awkward posing look effortless. I just look like I am trying to swallow a lemon whenever I attempt to pose – oh well ?
